Jenny Carlisle started her writing career by entering contests and attending conferences such as Ozark Creative Writers, Central Arkansas Writing Conference, Called to Write, and American Christian Fiction Writers (both local and national). She is a former columnist for Ouachita Life Magazine, has self-published two non-fiction books, and four fiction books with Scrivenings Press. She and husband James are the parents of three married children, and grandparents of eight, spread across Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas. They love traveling together to cheer for a favorite team or just to enjoy the adventures God places in their path. Their home is in Central Arkansas, where they worship with a very active congregation of the Church of Christ.
